The Electricity Holding Company S.A.O.C. (EHC) is owned by the Omani government. EHC holds 99.99% of the shares of the government in eight subsidiary companies in the Electricity Sector and 98.10% of the shares of Dhofar Power Company.

EHC provides central accounting services to the above subsidiaries and supports the implementation of the Government’s privatization policies for the electricity sector.
